Anthony Reese has been a gospel preacher since 1986.

He preached for the Wintergreen Church of Christ located in Nelson County, Virginia (1988-1989) prior to attending the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions (1989-1991) in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Anthony has also served as Director of The East Tennessee Prison Ministry and full-time Chaplain at Brushy Mountain State Prison, Morgan County, Tennessee.

He has preached at the Rock Hill Church of Christ since August 1994.

Anthony earned his BS in Bible and Religion from Lee University (1998) and his Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary in May 2002.

Anthony has undergone a liver transplant (1998) and a kidney transplant (2003) at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC).

He has since earned four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education and now works as a full-time Administrative Staff Chaplain at CMC.

One of his favorite Scriptural verses is Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is not I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
